The driver probably made up the story about the cyclist saying he was exempt for waiting at red lights because of the BTA (Bicycle Alliance). And there is a 50% chance the cyclist did probably say it, I dunno.

But it is completely believable that the cyclist ran the red light, that the motorist then ran the red light, and that the cyclist caught up to the driver and pounded on the window.
