I picked up a Brooks Professional (stamped A75 - so, January 1975?) at the Tucson Bike Swap Meet yesterday. Total impulse buy, but for $20 - I couldn't pass it up. The leather in the middle was cut out by the PO a la Imperial, which doesn't bother me too much, but the bigger issue is that the leather is getting some pretty deep cracks, and will soon tear all the way through. I know I can use it as-is for at least a little time, but I am also starting to think about restoring it. I Googled around, but it sounds like someone like Brooks could restore it, but it would probably cost as much as a new saddle. There are also vendors like CyclArt, and while they don't have a Brooks price listed, the others lead me to believe that restoration will be more than a new saddle.

So, I am wondering if there are vendors who can refurbish this thing for me for a good price? Perhaps overseas vendors? Something like HG tailors, but leather craftsmen?
