I did a little detective work , by chasing a shop crest that was on the frame ,the bike shop is in Scarborough and the head mechanic Bobby informed me the owner of the shop (d'ornellas) used to race these machines back in the day , the particular model I have sold for $1800 new in 1974! The same chap turning wrenches said the machine could well be worth $3000 , so I am still confused as very few people are familliar with this bike
