Also, I tried my had at making a mug cake - I was really sceptical at first when I saw the recipe at Buzzfeed. The basic idea is: stir some stuff in a mug, microwave for 3 mins. and whoohoo, cake! It sounded way too good to be true.

I had to prepare the recipe in a bowl instead of a mug, since Euro mugs are probably a little smaller than those in the land of the Big Gulp.

And lo behold, it works! the batter was cooked through and the cake was really nice and fluffy. The only problem was that the recipe called for vegetable oil, and I used a little sunflower oil which left a nasty mark on the otherwise great taste.
