Thanks, the weatherspark site looks useful.

I was ready for light rain, I have a softshell with good water resistance and softshell pants that dry quickly. If I really had to ride in the rain I have a poncho for that, but slippery roads and cars are not worth the risk. I am a fair-weather commuter, and part of that is a strong desire to stay alive despite the maniac drivers.
