Where: All of the above I live right in front of a National Capital Region's Conservation Park Its filled with on road so cycle paths and a lot of off road trails. I don't do that much urban but some.

Type: I want a mens or unisex bike (Tbh I never got the whole point of the women bike).

Where I live: Hilly - its all it is lots and lots of up and down.

I use to own: Gary Fisher Tiburon Hybrid bought about 3 years ago only used it for 1 year and 1/2 - paid about 500$ In Canada... I feel it was a bad choice - There are a lot of parts that were no good and I had to get frequent tune ups to fix all the time - I just didn't feel very satisfied. I have sold it 2 days ago.

I should add that I like bikes that look more like road bikes so I guess performance hybrids.

Anyways I appreciate your reply a lot I have been in so many bike shops and I just feel a bit clueless as to what to go for. Most bike shops I feel just want to sale me something - I would really be so greatfull for a little guidance.
