Hello !

We are trying to decide for a bike for my gf. It would be her first road bike so we're looking at an entry level with a budget of max 1000 tax in. After some online and in store research, we narrowed it down to

Norco Valence A3

and

Trek 1.2

Both of them come with the '13 Sora which is basically the 2012 Tiagra (no longer using a thumb shifter).

Any experience with any of them ? She tried and liked both of them. We're just trying to decide if one brand is more "reliable" than the other...or if one is in general..a better buy than the other.
