went with that garmin option, a lot better than the OSM version. I also tried out MOBAC + OpenCycle Maps and that was okay but it was super pixelated and I played with various settings in MOBAC to get it better and it still just was kinda bad. I dont know, I had the zoom levels(15) and everything set right.

Paid enough $$$ for this device that has issues with firmware, Garmin is repaying me. I'm still waiting for them to fix the power issue with GarminConnect and massive spikes.
