Best option may be to just buy a new identical chain, use the missing link that came with it to lengthen your old chain and you'll have a new chain ready to use when the old one wears out. I'm a little skeptical about the 1 use recommendation for the missing links. I have used several for 10 speed KMC's that are supposedly 1 use but get removed/replaced about 15+ times and go through 3 chains with no signs of failure.
