OK fellow commuters, I have a quick "rules" question related to this thread.

I am traveling from my home by bike to visit a relative in another state. So, would the miles I travel by bike be "eligible" to include in my commuting miles for the purpose of this thread? This is a trip I otherwise could make by car, but I have decided to do it by bike.

I will obey the will of my fellow commuters in this forum.
