Injury: What Does This Sound Like?

Hi,

I cycle, weight train, and have a good stretching routine. The back of my left leg has sustained some type of injury. This is the second time it has occurred. The first time, it took a year to get better, but it finally did. Now have I the same problem again. The back of my left leg, centered behind the knee, is very tight and it is uncomfortable to stretch the hamstring. It is more extreme discomfort than "pain." I can cyle and weight train without feeling it too much, but it's when stretching that I know something is definitely not right. Any theories about what this could be? Thanks.
