I thought he was joking since I've missed only 3 days this year - most recently a month ago when I overslept - but he looked serious, almost accusatory. They don't call them "co-irkers" for nothing. Some people just like to mess with you. The bike rack where I park at work is right next to the smoking area. One of the smokers stopped to talk to me one morning while I was locking up my bike, and asked me how many times I almost got hit by cars every day. He's supposedly worried about my safety while he's smoking a pack of cigarettes every day and overweight too boot.
