I like personal accomplishments, and make many myself, but for my attention span, spending 58 days of riding is just too long. I personally prefer shorter accomplishments, more along the lines of "I went rock climbing, and finally completed this difficult route I couldn't do before, and then came home for dinner". But I can see how some people may feel longer duration accomplishments are more grand.
A guess ... you're very young? Under 18? Maybe under 20? It could be that you'll understand endurance better when you grow up. Older people tend to have more mental endurance than younger people.

Again, I'd have to guess that you're quite young and haven't gotten over that youthful "need for speed" and quick, effortless results so that you can appreciate the fun and victory of actually putting in some effort. Give yourself a few years.

Not baffled by your hobbies at all. Many of us have a variety of hobbies too. But here's a thought ... try road cycling. It is a different sport from mountain biking.
