and the padding wasn't as thick as they are today. Some of them weren't even multi-paneled (4 or more).
Ah, the good ol' days of cycling shorts. It is so hard to find cycling shorts now
without those horrible saddle-sore inducing multi-panelled pads in them. I still have a few, but they're getting rather old.
