My reason forgetting rid of folders is that they were not a better alternative to what I already, had or could upgrade to. My dual drive racing sytle mezzo is fast and folds quick and small. Only better fast riding bike I have owned is the upgraded downtube, but not as versitile due to larger fold.
Only bikes I regret selling are the downtube Ns9 with ulgertracranks and brifthers on bull bars, and the fast folding diblasi R4 which were sold when I did not have enough storage space to keep.
Sometimes I find a bike does not find a niche in my usage. Carryme didn't
