I have to put on sunscreen year round. The combination of clear skies, high altitude, and low humidity leads to a high UV index. Snow on the ground makes it even worse. I've seen a lot of skiers with bright, red faces and white circles around the eyes - the negative raccoon look.

Which brings me to my question - what to do about my helmet head? After riding throughout the winter, I have a sharp line halfway up my forehead between my nicely tanned face and my lily-white top. Not to mention the strap lines around my ears and under my chin.

I guess I need to get out more... without the helmet.
