If you can find the right stem and get the tires and all for under $100, it'd be worth it, as long as you enjoy riding it- I wouldn't put much more money than that into it, though, as they aren't worth anything, and being about the quality of a modern Walmart bike which sells for $150 brand-new- well, you get the idea.

It's kind of neat, when you consider the history of them... I'd hold onto the original stem. Who knows, if you keep the bike, 10 or 20 years from now, they may be worth something for the novelty value/rarity!
