A Trek 1000 isn't THAT much better than your Alare.
That 450 goes a LOOOOONG way when you're deciding between a Madone 5.9 & S-Works Tarmac.
Know what I mean?
If the Trek is the last bike you're going to buy; then get it. If not - put that 450 away for a smoking rocket later on....
