Hello,

I've got smaller chainrings thinking of going to climb some epic hills I was going to have them swapped this Saturday until my mate rang me up and asked me if I wanted to go for a crazy ride on Sunday.

The thing is that my chains have done about 2000km and I was wondering do I need to ride the bike carefully until the new chainrings are "worn in" a bit? Obviously I'll have the bike properly cleaned up and lubed this weekend but I don't want any breakdowns like dropped or even snapped chains... do they even happen or am I just paranoid? Should I just keep using the old rings and wait until Monday?
