Happen to be a gringo male myself, but a friend of mine was born intersex and struggled with it all their life, been an eye opener for me.
Here in Seattle, I see a fair number of women commuters, once the weather improves. During the Winter I'd swear it is almost all guys, but my schedule is weird at times, so I get a odd sampling of what I see.
