I'd say you got a great deal! I took an '83 520 down the West Coast 30 years ago next month. 1400 miles, 4 flats and a broken shift lever later she kept on truckin'. My good friend has the bike now and uses it as a sport bike. Wanted to have another one so bad I found both a 600 and a 620 (531 main instead of 501) and built them up. Taking the 600 on a stealthy semi urban, semi farm-ish S24HO tomorrow.
