I think the entry level tarmac comes red as well is a beautiful bike. I don't recall the price but near $2000 or a little less. It's a very capable road bike.
If you go with the Sectuer:
-White tape and saddle are easy to change and go a long way for achieving the look. $150-200
-SRAM Force Components are very good, but overkill for commuting. A rather expensive upgrade unless you have worn out the stock components.$?
-Deep carbon rims look great, but pricey (1500-3000) and not ideal in all riding conditions.( they are terrible in cross winds, super in no wind) For commuting if you want to a good set of wheels, I'd go with and ultegra hub 32 spoke 3x lacing and an aluminium rim to get that deep section look.
-SLK bits, find what fits you before buy stems and posts. pay 200 bucks for a pro fit after riding for a year.
this is how you turn a $1000 bike into a $3000 bike, and you haven't even bought a kit, shoes, pedals, etc.
