I found that the Shimano FD-2303 Triple Crank is cross-compatible with the chain required for my 6-speed freewheel. Only cost $55 so I might get it.

So the question now is whether I need a particular set of Shimano derailleurs for compatibility. I wil keep my friction shifting. Can I use Shimano Integra derailleurs? Or would there be a compatibility issue between them and the 3/32" chain I need for the 6-speed freewheel (using a Shimano CN-HG70 chain)?
