Yeah, I have considered the compact double.
As an FYI, would the compact double accomodate the 3/32" chain required for the 6-speed freewheel?
And I need to replace my damaged rear derailleur, regardless; one of the set-screw's housing snapped-off.
Can I use any derailleur (i.e. a Tiagra) or will this be a compatibility issue, too. I will leep my friction shifting.
All of these choices and associated compatibilities are driving me crazy.
