Are you tightening the valve nut too tight after replacing the tube? If the nut is too tight, it will tear the valve away from the tube and flat. This was something that happened to me twice when I got my first roadie.

I am going to register for the Covered Bridges Ride.....I may need that lift if I can't get a car...the gas is on me, as is the post ride beer (if you are so inclined).
