Yeah, CXV's. I got it wrong in my posting. They were used with Avid SD-7 V-brakes and did not need Travel Agents.

I didn't understand it either but the Retroshift web site says Campy's won't work. The explanation maybe that Campy no longer offers downtube levers (which probably are a universal fit) and their barends have a different mount and can't be used on standard shifter bosses. The RS bosses can take Shimano downtube and the levers from their barends. BTW, they say SRAM barends won't work either.
