I owned an Origami Fox as well as a Curve. I got rid of the Fox immediately and would not compare it to a Dahon Curve D3. The Curve is a solid and very usable bike. I have mine with me in France at the moment, and in the only brief pause (3 hours) from nearly constant rain since I got here 3 days ago, I rode it 20 miles on a nearly flat bike path, and could have gone 20 more had I the time. If you can accept the limitations of the gearing, which basically means you will not be able to climb any extreme hills, nor go faster than maybe 20 miles per hour unless you are headed downhill, it is an otherwise very capable and comfortable bike. If you can find a used Curve D3, I'd go for it. There is also an internet Dahon dealer who sells them who has a nearly permanent coupon for 10% off.
