Has anyone used these with clips/straps? I'm looking for something I can walk around in without destroying my cleats every time. I'd like to know if I may be able to use these as a cleat-less touring shoe for play-around rides.

The recessed cleats for these Shimano SPD A520 pedals don't click when you walk, I use them with Keen bicycle shoes which are the most comfortable walk all day in bike shoe I have ever tried. As a bonus, the Keens are nearly waterproof.
