The Kenda tire is not especially thin, but it's a great tire. I got myself a rigid fork and raced a whole season on my mtb on those. You can also go to
www.paulcomp.com or paulscomp.com and check out their motobmx brakes, which let you run 700 wheels on a 26" frame. I'm trying those out myself this winter. peace
