Search ebay for Microshift STI shifters. Shimano compatible and much cheaper. The Sora have an odd thumb shift lever for going to a higer (smaller cog) gear so the Tiagra are better that way. Microshift are a much better price and are similar to the Tiagra in form, fit, function. Nashbar and Performance have them too as private labels.
