i raced turkey hill as well. missed 3/4 reg like a moron so raced p/1/2/3. got shelled like halfway through after the right turn off the road with the cones. that crosswind got me. did a few laps solo then got pulled. chilled in the grass and enjoyed the free ice cream. solid day.
i've done the p123 there a few times, it's a hard days work. last year we had to go up the gamber wall 9 times, then with 1 guy off the front (rick norton) on the finishing stretch, there was a huge pileup just inside 1K. somehow i got through it, i still dont really know how ... but it defintely was on my mind in that stretch this year. then seeing the 3/4 crash, yikes, i'm skerd of that finish.
