Looks like a Sturmey-Archer rear hub, if you check closely there should be a date code on it, something like 79 6 which would mean the hub was made in June 1979 with the bike likely being made shortly afterwards. What is the serial number? There may be someone on here that can do something with that.

I found two numbers stamped on the bottom of the frame. 8W28801. This looks like a factory stamp. The other is stamped but looks like it came later. Those numbers are 505-056310. Not sure of the second 0, it was hard to read.
Where do I find the hub marking? It dirty so I'm cleaning the hub to see if I can see it.
Also, where can I get tires? The rear says 24x1.75. Then it says fits 2.125 rim. The front tire is too far gone to see anything. Can I assume it the same? Looks the same.
