We plodded on up to the top of the hill where they were interested in my bike (saved from the dump of course).

That thing actually climbs like a mountain goat. The road triple certainly helped but I didn't expect it to be that nice on a hill.

Asked for directions back to Seoul and off we went. An enjoyable meeting. They probably thought I was mad riding that particular bike - I have more but I wanted to make it hard on myself. But I still paced them all the way up the hill so its not the bike or the clothes, but the rider (in reference to both performance and attitude).

Later on that same ride as we were making our way back along the mup section some kitted out women on a carbon roadie came screaming - literally down the crowded mup 'ge out of the **** way'. Riding at 20mph. Saw both ends of the spectrum that day. Hope she crashed into something solid and adjusted her attitude...
Love it! And this is what cycling is all about. Just RIDE. And when it comes to climbing you cant beat a triple chainring. You can do well with other setups but nothing suits the climb to your present condition like having another gearset available. That is exactly why it is there. Good riding!
