Sport Chek - Jamis Commuter 3 - Reputable?

I'm not sure if this is the best forum to post this question, but I didn't notice any other ones that seemed any more appropriate. I've done lots of reading and deliberating on a commuter bike and came across what seems to be an ok deal for the components I want. The issue, however, is that the bike is being sold by a retailer that I have no history with or knowledge about. Has anyone dealt with the Canadian sports store "Sport Chek"? Are they reputable? The MSRP for the bike on Jamis' website is $700 and the store has it on clearance for $500. It has the components I want (IGH, roller brake, chain guard, fenders, etc). The bike itself gets good reviews and I'm going to try a test ride soon hopefully, I'm assuming the store does test rides but if they don't that's a deal breaker unless they have a no questions asked return policy.

After test riding with an IGH on some comparable bikes I wouldn't go back to a derailleur (personal preference), but those bikes tend to be 200-500 more. But on the other hand I don't want to buy from a store that doesn't know how to put a bike together properly. I did some searching on the forum, but it seemed like mostly people asking about some off brand bikes sold through Sport Chek.
