I totally agree. I wouldn't have thought so, but just recently I took off my heavy (but very flat resistant!) Conti Gatorskins and replaced them with some light Vittoria tires . . . and WOW, what a difference! Huge difference and very easy to feel when getting up to speed, or grabbing a lot of speed quickly.

I'll probably have more flats now . . . but that's (part of) the price I pay.
