I post this in the commuting forum because I use my bicycle for commuting and I think it best fits here.

The rack I am after is the racktime light it Specialized custom. From the research I have done it came on several Specialized commuter style bicycles from 2012. Specifically the 2012 Specialized Source Elite http://www.specialized.com/de/de/bik...rceelite#specs Sorry it's a german page but Mr. Google.de only spits those out

The LBS here has a 2012 Source Elite in stock and this rack looks like a winner to directly replace the really useless racktime ultra on my 2013 Source Eleven. The 2012 and 2013 Source models have the same fenders mounted. The light it even has a 25kg capacity versus the 10kg capacity from the 2.5" wide ultra.

The LBS is in the process of ordering the rack for me but told me it is the same as the regular racktime light it, which just pictures alone make me not trust that. I'll know for sure next week when that rack comes in.

I just got off the phone with Specialized USA and explained to them what I was after. He told me he did not have access to look if they had one. He told me it would have to be ordered direct by a Specialized dealer. Surely the German dealers pull their parts from somewhere in Germany. I really don't want the regular racktime light it. I want the specialized custom one!

Anyone want to try to help me out with a stateside dealer? Someone have a 2012 Specialized bicycle with one they took off and want to unload?
