Hi Folks,

I'm going to start biking from work from Foster City to San Francisco (Fell and Divisadero St). Although, I've never done this before and am NOT familiar with biking around SF at all. I have a route that takes me to SSF near Hillside Blvd (from there I can go toward DC). I'm looking for suggestions that will take me from Hillside to SF (Fell and Divisadero). I am not sure if I should be trusting Google Maps, and hopefully looking for suggestions from people who has ridden in the area (looking for safe routes). I am open for alternative routes as well.
