top tubes fine, i just have way too much drop. i just want a frame thats a bit taller. i understand what youre trying to say though.

right
i have cinelli 66s and a 49cm seat tube, and i just ride on the street every day, its kind of impractical. its the first bike ive ever built completely from scratch. my last bike(half-finished "first build", a schwinn world tourist) was a very similar size(so when i saw a sweet 531 frame and the headtube looked similar i just gripped on it, i didnt know too much about fit then), but because of different bars/stem/saddle the schwinn was more comfortable.
im gonna put rb021s on the new build, and im not going to have as much seatpost exposed. going for something i can ride for longer distances more comfortably, and also just to build something i like and think is sweet, and just cause i really liked building my first one, and want to build another one.
i was thinking yesterday i was gonna just get a thrift store ten speed and say screw building bikes, im wasting money doing the trendy fixed gear thing, i need to focus what little money i have on more important stuff, but i find myself just wanting to go out and ride all the time whereas with a regular pawn shop bike id probably only use it for transportation... its just really fun to ride and build. i think im hooked. i figured this time around id build an actual track bike that fits me well, incase i ever get a chance to ride it on a velodrome. and i can also still have fun zooming around town.
still having doubts if im doing the logical thing, but its kind of like why i skateboard, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense but its super fun and makes me feel good
maybe aggressive was the wrong word, i just mean its got hella drop and reach
