When you get older, you will realize that if you are doing something that is working for you, indeed working better than what 99.999% of other people are doing, you will be disinclined to stop it to see if you become damaged, just to see if you can then reverse what may well be irreversible damage, or not to start it just to see if the damage gets worse. You may not know this now, but you may come to realize it. Or not.

Best not to question too closely the choices of those who are doing better than most of us could ever hope to do. Looking on in awe would be more appropriate.
