Bike E (RIP)
E2 tandem that I bought at Belmont Wheelworks. Bike E is long gone and 'bents in general seem to have disappeared from the few shops like BWW that carried them. I actually live 30 miles west of the city and hauling the E2
anywhere for service is a major hassle.
It's never had a full overhaul since I got it, just wheel truing. I figured after 14 years, it's due.
Any recommendations for 'bent savvy techs and ones familiar with Bike E in particular?
I'd get a local recommendation for a bike store and then call 'em up. 'Bents aren't that different from regular bikes and any reasonable bike shop ought to be able to do most things.
