Thanks for your feedback! I am late getting back to this but my big ride is coming up next week. If you happen to be in Montery on the 21st, it would be nice to join a group for the support. I will leave that morning for San Simeon. I plan to spend both Tuesday and Wednesday meandering south. I am a newbie to this route (although I have driven highway 1 many times) and just started touring last year. You guys are vets! I have confidence I will find camping along the route. If I don't see you along the way, then have a great trip and we can meet up at GWBR.
