Exactly why I made mine. The Pedro's and Nashbar are both made out of High Impact Polystyrene or something similar and styrene eventually breaks down when exposed to petroleum solvents. If you ever use diesel, kerosene, or other "real" solvents they eventually fail. Probably would hold up quite a while if you just use citrus stuff but I don't know for sure. Plus, I like the smoothness of the round pulley rotation rather than the friction dragging of the others...that's just me.
Plus one on the rotation. I spun up my chain quite fast and it stayed right where it was. Excellent tool.
