yuo already have a 36H 8 speed hub ? I'd get a sturdy 36H rim, like a Velocity Dyad, or whatever, and have a good wheel builder MAKE you the rear wheel with that hub, using quality stainless spokes and brass nipples. tensioned properly, that wheel should take anything you can throw at it unless you're a 350 lb weight lifter and you're into bunny hopping.
