You know, I'm talking with some people @ the Alamode last night (big coffee house open/mic where I play) and a couple of people recounted stories of older dogs given terminal cancer diagnoses who then proceeded to live 2-3 years, far longer than the vet had given them. Sam is doing so well on the chemo (he looks healthier than ever, no side effects) that we are hoping he'll last well into 2014. We can only hope, pray, and love him as much as we can every day in the meantime, and that's what we are doing.
