i test rode the Trek 7.3FX when i was looking for bikes. It's got click shifters and seemed very comfortable. it has 700x32c wheels on it

my only other comment is definitely get it from a LBS. the free help you get and having someone to talk you through the bike is a big bonus. i know mine offers free adjustments for 2 years and extended warranties on the parts for the bike. that's worth the difference in price for me. i already had them tweak the chain and brakes.
