The thing is OP...all the top bikes are excellent...Trek, Cannondale, Scott, Giant etc. In a recent group ride one rider just picked up a new Trek Domane...the bike with a hinge at the seat post. Me personally, I would prefer a H3 Madone because I like a like a long head tube, but when we placed the Domane next to my Roubaix, the similarities were striking in terms of frame shape. All the top brands have great DNA now. So pick the one you like and that fits best. Have fun.
