Thanks for the responses!

I checked out Goshen today. Woo-hoo! It looks like a kicker. Fortunately there is a cross street at the end of each block where you can catch your breath before the next grade, but each block (3) might be a bit more than the last.

I also spotted Ticonderogo St. today. It goes east off of Morena Blvd. almost as you get to Balboa (going north). It looks like a killer hill! If you like hills you'll love it.

Thanks Dahvaio for the Topo view. I have a topo program. I never thought of using it for gradient. I'm going to try it.

I think its kinda fun to be able to brag you've ridden up some steep grade or long grade whether it be a 3 mile 8% or a block long 15%.

I don't have any inclination to do 'em at some best-time nor do I have a desire to race. I bicycle for the fun of it, the excercise, and the personal challenges I set for myself so, climbing 1 blk uncategorized hills or 3 mile grades are all good.

I also wanna' be able to say I rode 'em on my bicycle! It usually amazes the non-cyclist when they hear what you've done on a bicycle; like tellin' 'em you rode a century (I haven't BTW).

Cheers!
