I run Campy Compact 50/34 with the Chorus 12-29 Cassette at about 265. I swtched over the 10 speed bike to Compact Veloce with 13-29. Its great to be able to spin up most stuff - and I like having the room to upshift on the climbs to pass the struggling skinnies (rarely happens but its good to be prepared)
Great info--thanks! BTW, do you know what derailleur cage you have in the rear (regular, medium or long)? I'm thinking I'll need at least a medium, but some say it can be done (29t) on a standard. Thx!
