Thanks again for the input. I'll check out the Forte pedals. I was turning some axles on the bargain pedals at the LBS, and was horrified to feel how rough some of the new budget pedals are. Btw, got the saddle on ebay new w/ shipping for under $20. Yes, paint is definitely rough. Buyer will probably be a student or cummuter who doesn't mind some blemishes...errr, patina.
