Dave1442397 & Chopstick Hero, And Whizzer283,

Read that Bikerader review a while ago and most seem to say the same. But this is my first bike so i thought that i would wear the Lugano's out. However, my Continental GP4000s 700x23 Arrived from the UK yesterday (along With my Lezyne Classic Floor Pump in Black). I am tempted to put them on ASAP. I have 3 choices:

1. Give in to my inner child and put them on now. I am a newbie cyclist so don't know if i could tell the difference. Even if i could, i don't race so is it not worth me wearing out the lugano's rather than take them off and waste them?
2. Wait until the Lugano's wear out, or use the Lugano's for at least 1000km and then put the GP4000s on. only done 130km so far on the Lugano's with my 2013 Black/Silver RAW CAAD10 105
3. Leave the Lugano's on. Wait for the custom wheels to come in a couple of months, and then put brand new GP4000s Black Chilli onto Brand new custom wheels

decisions decisions. not life threatening decisions, but i can hear the GP4000s' calling me from the cupboard while i sleep at night
